Landcare champions, the Crocodile Islands Rangers have developed a strong relationship with Traditional Owners and the community of Milingimbi to keep the culture strong, engage the community in weed and pest management, and create a sanctuary for important bird species and turtles.

Dion Beasley is a talented Tennant Creek artist and author of two children’s books, who can move around his community thanks to the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

Ryan Johnston recently entered the Australian Government’s Community Development Programme (CDP) as an unemployed man with few qualifications. As part of his CDP activities, Ryan started training in woodwork, found he had an aptitude for it and has built some furniture for a local grandmother and some easels for the Karratha library.

The Ready Set Crow program is assisting young Indigenous students from the APY Lands and Far West Coast of South Australia to access pathways to further education through mentoring and scholarships.
