Rachel Steffensen and Crown Resorts are both celebrating. Rachel has a new career in Hospitality and Tourism and Crown has their 500th Indigenous employee.

Monawuy is a CDP participant from Birritjimi in the NT. The CDP has given her the opportunity to learn new skills and in the process, boosted her confidence and sense of independence.

Sandra Gillman joined the Community Development Programme (CDP) to develop her skills and gain employment. Through her participation in the Kuranda Amphitheatre upgrade she has found a new career path and new CDP family.

Each year we celebrate National Reconciliation Week from 27 May to 3 June. These dates commemorate two milestones in Australia’s reconciliation journey – the anniversaries of the successful 1967 Referendum and the Mabo High Court decision.
