Kima Forbes wants to be a role model for all the young women in her community of Ntaria (Hermannsburg) in central Australia. She believes she has found the perfect way to do it – through her weekly radio program on the local Remote Indigenous Broadcasting Service (RIBS) radio station.

Kinchela Aboriginal Boys Training Home (KBH) was a ‘home’ run by the NSW Government for almost 50 years from 1924 – 1970 to house Aboriginal boys forcibly removed from their families; today it remains a place of deep importance for survivors, their families and communities.

Knowing where to look for the right services or advice can be a challenge, but with the help of Indigenous Community Links, more Indigenous Australians in urban and regional areas are being connected with the support they need.
